Andrew has been informed that the Environment Agency (EA) has started a further consultation on the environmental permit required to allow the 4R waste facility at Swinefleet. This is a separate requirement to the planning permission needed. Further to Andrew’s recent post on the Crowle Peatland Railway project, we are pleased to report that £11,392 has been raised for the Railway to purchase a Lisbon tram.   Andrew reports, “The funding was secured by my Community Support Officer Julie Reed with cash from the SSE Keadby Windfarm. Earlier this week, Andrew met with KCOM for an update on the company's multi-million pound roll-out of ultrafast gigabit broadband to the town. The works started in June and will be completed by the summer of 2021, providing Goole residents with ultrasfast broadband speeds of up to 1 gigabit, something enjoyed by fewer than 15% of the UK.    The investment comes as part of a £100 million network expansion by East Yorkshire based KCOM across the East Riding.    Following his meeti...
