Andrew has welcomed the announcement of a price freeze by SSE until at least 2016. The freeze has been made possible because of the Government’s recent energy market reforms and a reduction in green taxes levied on bills.  Labour’s plans to decarbonise the UK’s energy mix would threaten thousands of local jobs in the gas, oil and coal industry. Andrew's campaign against nuisance calls took a huge leap forward today as the government announced plans to levy huge fines on firms who break regulations. Andrew is delighted to announce that the public access defibrillator in Airmyn is now up and running.  Andrew secured a £1,000 casing for the defibrillator from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service and donations from local residents enabled the purchase of the defibrillator itself.
