As well as Labour's on-going smears, we now have letters being written for people to send to the local paper attacking the funding of my campaign! Then of course there are the on-line ramblings and offensive comments of my opponent's staff which I have screen shot in preparation. Conservatives Will Protect Port Jobs

Andrew Percy and local businesses operating on the docks in Goole have welcomed a Conservative commitment to scrap collection of Labour's disastrous port taxes if elected. The back dated taxes threatened hundreds of jobs in the Goole area and were imposed by the Labour government without consultation with port businesses.

I dont think the Unions and Labour could have timed it better. Given all the stuff in the press at the moment regarding the influence UNITE has over Labour and allegations that they effectively buy influence in Labour, why oh why would they pick today to start delivering disgraceful leaflets in Crowle scaremongering vulnerable residents about rent rises.
