Further to the additional funding secured for the Crowle Peatland Heritage Railway project, Andrew is pleased to report that funding has also been secured for Crowle Boxing Club.
Andrew explains, "I am delighted that we have been able to help secure £13,500 via the SSE Windfarm fund. This money will help to purchase a minibus for the club, with the club raising £1500 to contribute to the £15k cost. The minibus will be used to take children to competitions and also to sparring events at other clubs in order to gain experience in different boxing styles. I am very pleased that we could help out, having supported the club since its inception in 2015.
"This was once again possible due to the bid writing service I established and offer through my Community Support Manager, Julie Reed. As I mentioned previously, we are continuing to work on a number of other bids and I look forward to sharing these with you all shortly.
"I wish the club all the very best for the future, and thank you to everyone involved."
