NHS North Lincolnshire CCG have launched a public engagement programme on urgent care services in North Lincolnshire ahead of the CCG’s plans for an Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at Scunthorpe General Hospital.
Andrew says, “The CCG’s survey will seek views on urgent care, how people access it and people’s understanding of urgent care services across North Lincolnshire. It will run from January 9th - February 3rd, and can be completed online. There will also be hard copy versions for patients to complete, so do get in touch if you require a paper copy.
“This survey comes ahead of the launch of an urgent treatment centre in Scunthorpe later this year. The UTC will be co-located alongside the Accident and Emergency department at Scunthorpe Hospital and will provide ‘same-day diagnosis and treatment for urgent, but non-life-threatening conditions’. These conditions include: sprains and strains, suspected broken bones, cuts and grazes, feverish illness in adults and children, and abdominal pain.”
