North Lincolnshire Summer Clean-Up

North Lincs Council are extending their summer clean-up campaign to last all summer: June, July, and August.

The council is encouraging local community groups, charities, sports clubs, businesses, and town and parish councils to get involved in the initiative.

Local people and groups can get involved by contacting the council, who will provide loaned equipment (high viz jackets, gloves and litter pickers), large black bags, the coordination of collecting and disposing filled bags, issuing health and safety guidance notes, and also providing a risk assessment template.

Andrew adds, “I mentioned before how it’s small things that add up to make an area pleasant and welcoming. This campaign is also a great way to instil pride and a sense of community in our area, which is why this is a very welcome initiative.”
