Last week Andrew asked the following question during Cabinet Office questions in the House of Commons Chamber:
Andrew Percy (Brigg and Goole) (Con)
“Never mind the hereditaries, the House of Lords is stuffed full of people who are too London-centric. When are we going to have more Yorkshire folk and more of the good men and women of Lincolnshire in the House of Lords?”
You can read the full debate online here.
Andrew also met with US Congressman Darin LaHood in Parliament. Congressman LaHood is the United States Representative for Illinois's 18th congressional district.
Andrew said, "It was great to welcome US Congressman, Darin LaHood, to Westminster last week. Not only does Darin employ a former member of my team, we have similar views on trade policy. A good opportunity to once again push the case for exempting UK steel from tariffs in the US."
