Postbox Refurbishment

Postbox Refurbishment

Andrew has welcomed confirmation that the Royal Mail will begin their programme of postbox refurbishment across the DN14 postcode next month, with ones in Old Goole scheduled to be some of the first to be painted.

Andrew says, “I have been working closely with residents across our local area on campaigns to help improve their local community and I recently joined East Riding Council and their Environmental Enforcement Team for a visit to various sites in Old Goole.

“This visit was all part of an effort to help improve the appearance of local areas and we discussed what can be done on a range of issues; such as getting weeds sprayed, organising litter collections, having postboxes repainted and more.

“I know how hard many local residents work to keep up the appearance of their towns and villages, so I welcome the Royal Mail's commitment to helping with this.”
