Andrew Welcomes New Early Years Facilities at Pollington-Balne Primary School

Last week Andrew visited Pollington-Balne Primary School to meet with pupils and for a tour around the new purpose built pre-school building, which now occupies over 50 children.

The three month construction project finished in October and now youngsters aged from two to four years old are making the most of it.

Andrew says, “This is a great school and I’m always hearing a lot of positive feedback from both parents and teachers here. I had a really good visit, during which I answered some great questions from pupils and also visited the new pre-school area.

This Early Years Hub has been put in in preparation for the government's extension of free childcare for under 5s and the facilities are first class.”

Deputy Head teacher, Zoe Bell, added, “We are absolutely delighted that we were able to open this new state of the art Early Years Hub.

This is already proving to be a real asset to our community for those families who are using our pre-school provision. We believe that this will contribute wholeheartedly to our continuing outstanding provision within this very special community.”
